At RT-Filtertechnik, service is regarded as a measure of performance, which is why we are now offering all our customers a comprehensive range of measuring and testing services. Details of our inspection packages can be found below.

ADVANTAGES IN BRIEF :
  • Regular analyses allow cost-efficient maintenance
  • Analysis results show up wear and tear at an early stage
  • Competent support helps establish the causes of damage
  • Filter capacities are optimally adapted to your machine
  • Analyses and start-up measurements are included as part of the package with certain RT filters
  • Extended joint projects ensure an optimal long-term maintenance strategy

OPC - Oil Particle Check
This check establishes the quality of filtration in your system. This enables you to determine whether the purity of the oil still meets the required standard for sensitive components. Regular particle analyses can reveal signs of wear and tear and so aid preventive maintenance.

Analyses:   Determination of contamination level according to ISO 4406:1999
Determination of contamination level according to NAS 1638
Number of particles per particle size and in cumulative terms
Vacuum membranisation
Visual inspection of solid matter

OWC - Oil Water Check
Water contamination in the oil poses a serious risk to any hydraulic system. It accelerates the ageing process of the oil and can cause local collisions. An increased water content is particularly critical when using bio-oil (HEES). Here again, regular inspection aids preventive maintenance.

Analyses:   Determination of water content in ppm according to Karl Fischer method

OCC - Oil Chemical Check
An exact solid-matter analysis is essential particularly after lengthy idle periods or in case of damage. If carried out regularly, the results can help determine the optimal service life of the oil.

Analyses:   Determination of exact quantities of the following solids:
Wearing metals:   FE, Cr, Sn, Al, Ni, Cu, PB
Additives:   Ca, Mg, Zn, P, Ba, Mo
Impurities:   Dust (Si), K, Na, B

OVC - Oil Viscosity Check
This important property of the process medium shows how fast it is ageing. A stable, optimal viscosity is highly important both for the performance data of the hydraulic system and the wear protection of the components.

Analyses:   Viscosity at 40 °C
Viscosity at 100 °C
Viscosity index
Oxidation
Appearance analyse

MOPC - Mobil Oil Particle Check
This check establishes the quality of filtration in your system. This enables you to determine whether the purity of the oil still meets the required standard for sensitive components. Regular particle analyses can reveal signs of wear and tear and so aid preventive maintenance. Conducted on site and supplemented by pressure and/or temperature measurements, comprehensive start-up measurements can be completed quickly and efficiently.

Measuring on site (optional):   Pressure
Underpressure
Temperature
Oil sample
Analyses:   Determination of contamination level according to ISO 4406:1999
Determination of contamination level according to NAS 1638
Number of particles per particle size and in cumulative terms
Vacuum membranisation
Visual inspection of solid matter

FPC - Filter Pressure Check
In the case of unusually short filter lifetimes or test applications, etc., it is best to carry out a direct inspection from the filter element on the test bench. With a wide performance range and variety of viscosities, it is possible to determine all required performance curves.

Analyses:   Dp-qv characteristic via test bench
Available for a minimum of 2 different viscosities, others subject to agreement.

FMC - Filter Material Check
An exact analysis of the particles retained in the filter can often provide “clues” to the causes of damage. Both solid matter and chemical reaction products can be examined under the REM.

Analyses:   Separation of element
Ultrasonic separation of solid matter
Membranisation of solids
Visual inspection
Microscopic digital recordings
Examination of fleece coating if required

FSC - Filter Screen Cleaning
In the case of filtration grades < 100 μm, the wire mesh can only be effectively regenerated via an ultrasonic bath. This prolongs the maintenance intervals and extends the lifetime of the filter element, thus bringing economic benefits for you, the user.

Abilities:   Cleaning of cylindrical or radial-type wire gauze elements via compressed air, cleaning solution and ultrasonic bath.
