Ergonomics is the watchword nowadays when it comes to construction machinery. The ultimate goal is to maximise maintenance intervals. RT suction-return filters with their HighC elements offer outstanding performance, featuring an innovative flow harmonisation towards the inside of the element which ensures easy activation of the user-friendly magnetic filtration. The subsequent filtration from the inside outwards keeps all retained dirt particles inside the element during maintenance, thus preventing a re-contamination of the oil. The valve system of standard filters also prevents quick venting during start-up and gets in the way when changing the element. To solve this problem, RT offers an air evacuation package which, when integrated in the filter, guarantees quick start-up venting and lowering of the oil level for maintenance work. This enhancement also allows periodic visual inspections of the magnetic core, which not only guarantees the long-term absorption of microscopic metallic impurities but also – given regular cleaning – serves as an indicator for system-internal wear processes. This means that any damage occurring in the system can be detected early on irrespective of the filter performance. That way the exchange of a valve or hydromotor can be planned and machine downtime avoided. |
